Coq Nain is the French term for small rooster. Lalique introduced the design as a mascot on the 10th February 1928. Pre-war examples are the most valuable, especially if they are made from amber glass as they are rarer. Pre-war examples can be identified by the R Lalique mark as opposed to the plain Lalique mark.
Below are some examples and price guides of car mascots with the Coq Nain design including a topaz glass mascot and a satin and clear glass rooster.
