Rolls Royce Car Mascots. Rolls Royce is renown for it’s Spirit of Ecstasy car mascots. The mascots were designed by Charles Robinson Sykes in 1911. It was a modification of his earlier model entitled “The Whisper”. It became a standard fitting of the Rolls Royce in the early part of the 1920’s.

Lalique Molded Glass Rolls-Royce Spirit of Ecstasy Car Mascot
Serial no. RR122, 1994
In frosted and colorless glass, with acid-etched Rolls Royce company logo, serial number and inscribed Lalique France with the “R” registry symbol on the underside. Height 7 1/2 inches.
In 1994 Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Limited commissioned Lalique to produce a 200-piece limited edition design to commemorate the luxury motor company’s 90th anniversary. The Spirit of Ecstasy was designed by the English sculptor Charles Robinson Sykes.
